RippleDown™Osteo creates automated patient specific reports for Bone Mineral Density (BMD) assessments. It provides the reporting Radiologist or Physician the ability to aggregate data from both femoral neck and lumbar spine bone density scans with clinical information collected from the patient. This aggregated data is then passed to a knowledge base where a comprehensive interpretation of the data as well as treatment and monitoring recommendations for the patient are generated. As a result, the RippleDown™Osteo presents an automated final report to the clinician ready for review and dispatch to the referring doctor.
RippleDown™Osteo supplies an integrated patient database and is designed to run as a standalone adjunct to bone mineral density assessments. RippleDown™Osteo submits direct registration of patients and relevant demographic and clinical details into the database then adds the data from both their lumbar spine and femoral neck scans. When all data is available for each patient, the entire patient record, including data from previous BMD scans is passed to the RippleDown knowledge base for interpretation.
